We are open for the New Year celebrations from 27th December.

Enjoy the atmosphere of the festive season at Braeburn when we are pleased to offer guests a glass of champagne to welcome in the New Year.

We would like to suggest the following activities during your stay over the New Year:

The Hogmanay Ceilidh – Nevis Centre
Lochaber’s biggest and best Hogmanay Ceilidh with Fergie McDonald’s ceilidh Band and Wonderland bringing in the New Year in the finest tradition.

For the daytime: guests may like to take a gondola ride up 2150ft on the north face of Aonach Mor. Whether you are looking to relax in the tranquil scenery and absorb the stunning highland scenery or take part in one of the action packed activities such as skiing or snowboarding, there is something for everyone at the Nevis Range.

For the more energetic, walk up the famous Ben Nevis or take a relaxing stroll alongside the Caledonian Canal or one of the many short walks the area has to offer. A super way of blowing off the cobwebs after the New Year festivities!

Alternatively, guests might like to visit the Ben Nevis Distillery with a whiskey tasting after the tour.

The West Highland Museum holds fascinating collections of pictures, photographs, archives and artefacts from life in the West Highlands. Take a short drive up the A82 to Loch Ness and possibly take a boat trip on the Loch whilst taking in the beauty of Urquhart Castle or investigating the origins of Nessie at the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre at Drumnadrochit.
